We've been here going on three weeks now and are thoroughly enjoying our stay! All the roads are paved. All the sites are paved, which is fantastic. When you're older and are afraid of falling on unstable gravel. The dog park is very large, and there are dog poop bag stations spread all around the lake. So far in the three years, we've traveled, I have not seen a campground that had 3(!) bathhouses, with laundries, And dumpsters! Everything we've needed has been very convenient. Last night there was a Super Bowl party, but I didn't hear a thing as the office and party room were at the very front of the campground. The playground and other things separate the campsite from the office a bit. I can't say enough good.

Under new ownership and they are making great improvements. When we arrived Wednesday before Thanksgiving they were finishing building a dog park which was perfect for us to let all the dogs in the family play together. The staff was very nice and helpful including Mr Ray. Will definitely camp there again.

As two older ladies on our first time out in my Minnie Winnie, this campground was a perfect place for us. We felt safe to walk by the lake, the bathhouse was spotless, the sites were clean and tidy and the owners and staff made frequent rides around the campground to check on things. My friend and I enjoyed our stay there. There was plenty in Amite and nearby to photograph and good restaurants to eat at if you don’t want to cook. We hope to go back soon. Nothing but good things to say.

Great park and friendly staff. We have had several park employees stop at our site to say Hello and to see if we needed anything. It's one of our favorite camping parks. They are making many upgrades, like WiFi, street lights, and a small playground for children.
