is focused on acquiring, improving, and operating RV Park Resorts & Campgrounds, primarily throughout the Southeast. With a focus on stable properties with long-term occupants and strategic, desirable locations, we strive to provide solid returns to our investors AND operate campgrounds that delight our residents and campers.


Position Summary:
 

The Human Resources Director plays a crucial role in recruiting, retaining, and managing staff at all levels of the organization, while ensuring compliance with labor laws and workplace policies. The ideal candidate is well-connected in the campground industry, understands the challenges of seasonal employment, and can effectively handle staffing, insurance claims, and employee/guest relations. 


Essential Job Responsibilities
:

Talent Acquisition

  • Recruit, hire, and onboard employees(seasonal and full-time employees) at park level along with HQ support staff

  • Create a hiring funnel with video interviews to build a strong candidate pipeline.

  • Manage Work Camper & Seasonal Hiring Programs to support flexible workforce needs.

Employee Relations & Retention

  • Foster a positive workplace culture, implement retention initiatives, and enhance team performance.

  • Act as a liaison between staff and management to address concerns and enhance the campground experience.

  • Implement onboarding (structured orientation, mentorship, milestone check-ins) & training programs ( initial and ongoing).

  • Establish relocation opportunities for high-performing team members.

  • Negotiate with HR service providers like HCC/Resource Edge to maximize benefits offerings and enhance operations support

Compensation & Benefits

  • Ensure competitive salary structures and evaluate pay scales as the company grows.

  • Manage benefits programs (health insurance, 401K, PTO, work perks).

  • Oversee performance-based bonus programs to align company goals with employee incentives.

  • Develop career growth & development opportunities (skills training, leadership tracks).

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Handle workers' compensation and insurance claims and promote workplace safety and oversee any insurance needs for each park

  • Expertise in labor law compliance, risk management, and employee relations.


Skills and Experience:
 

  • 5+ years in HR leadership, preferably in the campground, hospitality, or outdoor recreation industry.

  • Strong industry network to aid in staffing.

  • Knowledge of labor laws, insurance claims, and HR best practices.

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.

  • Proficiency in HR software, payroll systems, Google Suite, task managers such as Click Up.

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).

  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or PHR/SPHR certification is a plus.
