We traveled to God’s Country Resort over Thanksgiving weekend so my husband could hunt, and what we expected to be a simple getaway turned into something far more memorable thanks to the staff here. We arrived on Thanksgiving Day, after the office had already closed early, and immediately ran into unexpected RV issues. Gloria, the manager, was an absolute lifesaver. Despite it being a holiday, she went out of her way to help us, and another team member jumped in as well. They spent time troubleshooting with us and making sure we had a comfortable place to stay for the weekend.
The cabin we stayed in was spotless, cozy, and incredibly comfortable. The entire property feels well cared for — clean, organized, and clearly maintained with pride. Even though we didn’t explore the whole resort, it’s obvious they value their environment and the experience they provide. What could have been a stressful, ruined weekend became a relaxing and enjoyable trip because of Gloria and the team’s kindness and hospitality. We’re truly grateful, and we highly recommend God’s Country Resort.

We have stayed in the covered wagons twice now. We love them. They comfortably sleep 4 people. Fridge and coffee bar. Clean towels and bathrooms are always very clean. It very relaxing and peaceful out here. Highly recommend. Miss Tricia in the office was very kind, professional and helpful.

We are traveling pull a camper across country and had booked this camp site a couple of months ago. The campground was wonderful along with the management.The check in/ out process was easy and Gee was so helpful attending to our every need that we needed help with. The BEST thing we experienced/enjoyed the most was they had a pond that we paddled around in a large yellow DUCK!!!!!!OMG our grand kids and even our 88 yr old parents loved the pictures we shared with them. We were so glad we stayed here and look forward to hopefully coming back again

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this incredible campground, and I can't say enough good things about it! The teepees provided a unique and comfortable experience, making our stay truly memorable. The lake was great, and we enjoyed fishing there every day. The staff were extremely nice and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. Im a single mom and felt very safe there with my children. It was the perfect blend of adventure and relaxation. Highly recommend this campground to anyone looking for a fantastic outdoor getaway!

We stayed in one of those wagons and it was a fun experience. The couple times I had to call with a question the staff was super helpfull. This is a cool spot and we will most likely be back at some point. Bathrooms were nice and clean as well.
