Campground Rules

Check In/Check Out: 

RV Sites: Check in time is 1:00 PM.  Check out or re-register by 12:00 PM (noon).          

Cottages: Check in time is 3:30 PM.  Check out time is 11:00 AM                                                                                         

If you wish to stay until dusk on your departure date, you can come to the office by 5pm on the day before your departure to take advantage of our late stay package.  

Once you have checked out, you MUST vacate the property. You may not return to the beach or the pool for the day. 

Site Assignment: Generally, once a site has been assigned to you it is yours for the length of your stay.

Sewer requirements: All sewer connections must seal and lock airtight.  

Trash: All guests are responsible for depositing their trash into the proper receptacles. Please keep your site clean.  DO NOT leave trash in your fire pit.  There will be a $30.00 fee for excessive clean up.

Resort Courtesy: Please respect your neighbors – DO NOT cut through their site. Quiet time is between 10:00PM and 7:00AM. Quiet hours will be strictly enforced.

Speed Limit: Speed limit is 5 mph while in the resort.

Fires: Campfires must never be left unattended.  Please be sure to completely extinguish all flames before leaving the site or going to sleep for the night.  Fire rings are provided at the site, please do not move them.

Site vehicle limits. Please note that there is only room to park ONE VEHICLE per cottage or RV site. Please do not try to squeeze a second vehicle in there. There is overflow parking available to park a second registered vehicle. All vehicles must have an NLB parking pass visible at all times!

Vehicles: All vehicles driven within the resort must be quiet and can only be driven on roadways.  Only licensed drivers may operate a motorized vehicle within the resort.  ATVs and off-road vehicles are prohibited.  Golf carts must be registered with the office, proof of insurance provided and a fee of $5 per day paid.  Golf carts must have lights to be driven between dusk and dawn.  

All boats and trailers must be parked in overflow parking at the front of the resort.  No boats or trailers are allowed at your site.

Bicycles: Riding bicycles after dark without proper lighting is prohibited.  

Guests Responsibility:  All guests are responsible for their conduct and that of their visitors, children & pets and for any damages resulting from their actions.

Children: Children under 14 must be under direct adult supervision at all times and follow appropriate safety rules while biking, swimming or participating in any other activities.  

Protection of Property:  We advise each of our guests to exercise caution with their personal property.  Please ensure you lock up bikes and lock your vehicles.  We advise the use of pressure regulators for water and surge protectors for electricity.  North Landing is not responsible for any theft or damages to your personal property.  

Pets: We welcome well behaved pets.  Owners must pick up after pets.  Pets are NOT allowed in any resort buildings, swimming pool or clubhouse areas.  Leashes and tethers should be no more than 6 feet long.  Owners MUST be in attendance when pets are outside.  Aggressive behavior towards guests or other pets will not be tolerated and guest may be asked to leave the resort.

Soliciting: No soliciting of resort staff or guests is allowed on the property.  If you witness this behavior, please advise office staff immediately.  This does not include resort events planned in advance.  

Trees/Bushes:  Trees are a big part of our resort beauty.  They are not to be defaced or destroyed.  Do not carve, nail or chop down trees.  Firewood is available for sale at the office.  If any trimming is needed, please contact our office staff.

Clotheslines: Temporary clotheslines are allowed at your  site to dry bathing suits and towels.  Clotheslines may NOT be attached to trees, fences, or buildings. 

Facilities closures: Facilities may be temporarily closed for private parties, activities, maintenance or other health and safety related issues.  Please observe all closed signs as posted.

Personal Safety: We encourage you to wear footwear while walking through our resort and while at the beach.  GLASS IS PROHIBITED IN WATER RECREATION AREAS.  PLEASE NO GLASS AT THE BEACH OR POOL.

Firearms:  Firearms must be kept in a safe and secure place in accordance with State and Federal law.  No loaded firearms are allowed within the resort.  No fireworks, firecrackers, firearms or any type of explosives are allowed.

Satellite Dishes: Please place satellite dishes as close to RV as possible and use weights, not stakes, to secure them.

Smoking: Please do not smoke in any buildings. The pool area is non-smoking. Please observe no smoking areas and dispose of your cigarettes properly – do not toss them on the ground. 

Dishwashing: Please do not wash any dishes in the bathroom facilities or social room.

Guest Affirmation / Credit Card Authorization: By checking into the Resort, each registered guest and member of their party acknowledges there is an express affirmation that they have read and will abide by all the rules, policies and guidelines of the Resort. In addition, it is expressly agreed by all registered guests and members of their party that the Resort is authorized to use the credit card on file of the registered guest to settle all charges relative to their party, prior to or after departure, including charges resulting from damages caused by any member of the registered guest party. Moreover, the registered guest acknowledges the Resort staff may terminate the occupancy of the registered guest for any reason or for no reason upon written notice from Resort management.  In the event the occupancy is terminated without cause, the guest will be refunded the balance of the amount of their stay on a pro-rated basis to the later of the following events: notice of Termination OR the vacating by the guest of their RV site or cottage. 

There is NO cooking permitted in the resort facilities or use of resort property without permission from Resort Management.  

Rates are based on occupancy of: 

• 2 Adults/2 children and one vehicle.
• Additional vehicles are $5.00 a night
• Day visitors are $7/adult and $3/youth 6-17 
• Overnight guests are $10.00/adult and/or $8/youth 6-17.
• Children 5 and under are always free.

Campground Guidelines

All guests at NLB agree to pay for any damages to NLB property, sites, buildings, facilities, equipment, or loss of equipment that may occur.  All guests agree to take full responsibility for all people in their party, including minors and visitors.  The registered guests accept full responsibility for their children or children in their care, custody or control and will supervise and attend to their children at all times while on NLB premises.

Please Don’t Drink and Drive Within the Resort.

1. Only one family is allowed per site. Family is identified as minor children living with parents. (A maximum of 8 people per any site) NLB reserves the right to limit the number of persons occupying and or visiting a site.
2. Only one RV or Trailer unit per site is allowed.   No tents on RV, cottage or cabin sites unless approved by NLB.
3. We allow the parking of 1 vehicle in addition to your camping unit on your campsite. Additional parking is available beside the pool. All additional vehicles are $5.00 per night for the use of overflow parking. No Parking on the Grass. Please Park in Designated Areas.
4. Anyone driving a motorized vehicle or Golf cart must have a valid driver’s license and must stay on marked roadways.  Vehicle maintenance is not allowed on the premises.
5. ATVs and off-road motorcycles are prohibited.
6. Gas-powered golf carts or golf carts without permanently installed lighting may not be driven between dusk and dawn, must have a valid Driver’s License to Operate any Golf Cart.
7. Only registered pre-paid visitors will be allowed to enter the resort when the Welcome Center is closed.
8. Our campground speed limit is 5 MPH.
9. Trees are a big part of our campground’s beauty. Any standing trees are not to be defaced or destroyed. Please do not carve, nail or chop our trees. Firewood is available for sale at the campground store.
10. Campsites are assigned. Do not set up on any campsite or move from one site to another without first consulting with the Welcome Center.
11. Campers are responsible for removing any trash from their campsite and placing it in the proper receptacle.
12. Picnic tables and fire rings are provided to campsites. Please do not move either.
13. A Virginia fishing license is required for fishing on the premises.
14. Be considerate. Do not walk through any campsite not your own.
15. Quiet hours from 10:00 PM until 7:00 AM are strictly enforced.  This includes generators.
16. The registered camper is responsible for the behavior of all persons occupying or visiting their site.
17. All visitors must check in at the Welcome Center to purchase a Day Pass.
18. Children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian when off their campsite after 10 pm.
19. Refunds or credits are not given due to discomforts of nature.
20. Messages and mail are NOT delivered.  Please check with the Welcome Center if you’re expecting correspondence.
21. No public display of alcoholic beverages.
22. For your safety, please wear footwear while in the water or when walking in the resort.
23. No firecrackers, fireworks, firearms or any type of explosives are allowed.
24. The boat ramp is only for the use of registered guests.  Remove your vehicle from the ramp promptly.
25. Campfires must not be left unattended.
26. Riding bicycles without proper lighting is prohibited after sunset.
27. All guests must comply with our pet policy at all times.
28. Virginia State law requires sewer rings for sewer hookups.
29. Sewer hose connectors with a potable water connection (with or without back flow preventers) are illegal in the state of Virginia and cannot be used at North Landing Beach Resort.
30. No sink/shower waste shall be put on the surface of the ground or in nearby waterways in accordance with Virginia State Law.
31. Under no circumstances are parties allowed at any of our sites. If you plan to have a party with more than 8 people attending, please inquire with the office in regards to renting a party space.
32. No motorized bikes are allowed in the park.
33. Do not park your vehicle in an empty RV Site. You will be towed.
34. No Boats, Jet skis or motorized vehicles allowed in Swimming Area.
35. No Motorized Vehicles allowed on Beach. Park in Designated areas.
36. No loud music coming from your Golf Cart or Site at any time. Please Keep Music contained within them.
37. No erratic Driving from Golf Carts. Must Have correct Seating for any passengers on any Golf Cart. Includes NO Hanging Off, Wheelies, Driving Through Sites, Driving More Than the Posted Speed Limit, Or Towing Skate Boards or Any Other Things Behind Golf Carts.
38. No Riding on Truck Tail Gates or Bed Rails. 
39. Kids are not Allowed to Ride Electric Cars, Toys etc. on Main Roads.
40. Livestock is not permitted on the property. 
    
    

NLB Has the Right to Have You Park or Remove Golf Carts from The Resort If We Deem Necessary.
